Alcom Web Studio – Software Licence Agreement (EULA)
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This End User Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is between you (an individual or an organisation, "Licensee") and M/S ALCOM COMPUTERS, Darul Aman Market, Jamalpur, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh 202001, India ("Licensor"). It applies to Alcom Web Studio, including its installer, program files, themes, templates, website kits, documentation and updates (the "Software"). By installing, activating or using the Software you accept this Agreement. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the Software and ask for a refund under the Refund Policy.
1. Licence grant
Subject to payment and this Agreement, Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software on the number of computers covered by your licence key (the "seats"), for your own use or your organisation's internal use, including to create websites for yourself or for your clients.
2. Seats and activation
- A seat is one activated computer. You may install the Software on more computers, but it may be activated on at most the number of seats you bought at the same time.
- You may move a seat to another computer by deactivating the old one.
- Activation and periodic online checks are a condition of the licence. You must not bypass, disable, modify or interfere with them, or use any key, crack, patch or tool to do so.
3. Restrictions
You must not: (a) share, publish, sell, rent, lend or sub-license your licence key or the Software; (b) reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software except where the law expressly allows it; (c) remove or change copyright notices, the Alcom name or logo in the Software; (d) use the Software to build a competing product; (e) use the Software for anything unlawful.
4. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor and its licensors keep all rights, title and intellectual property in the Software. The Software includes open-source components (such as Electron, Chromium and the Monaco editor) under their own licences, listed in the LICENSES folder of the installation; nothing in this Agreement limits your rights under those licences.
5. Your content
Websites, pages, text and images you create or edit with the Software belong to you. You may use the themes, templates, blocks and website kit designs included with the Software in websites you make, including for clients, but you may not redistribute them as a separate template collection.
6. Data sent by the Software
For activation and licence checks the Software sends: your licence key and email (at activation), a one-way computer identifier, the computer name and Windows user name, the Windows version and architecture, the Software version and your IP address. It does not send your files or website content. See the Privacy Policy.
7. Updates
Licensor may provide updates for the major version you bought. Updates are covered by this Agreement unless they come with a new one.
8. Term and termination
This licence lasts for the period stated at purchase (lifetime unless stated otherwise). It ends automatically if you breach this Agreement, if the payment is refunded, reversed or charged back, or if the licence is revoked for misuse. On termination the Software will stop working and you must uninstall it.
9. Limited warranty
Licensor warrants that the Software will work substantially as described on the website for 7 days from purchase; your remedy is a fix or a refund under the Refund Policy. Otherwise the Software is provided "as is", without other warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent allowed by law. Licensor does not warrant that the Software is free of errors or that it will work with every hosting server, browser or third-party service.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Licensor is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, business or goodwill. Licensor's total liability under this Agreement is limited to the licence fee you paid. Keep backups of your work.
11. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Copyright Act, 1957. The courts at Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.
